Hidden Creek Equestrian Center LLC was established in the Summer of 2010, formerly doing business as Horse Sense.  We offer Boarding, Training and Lesson services.  We are dedicated to providing top quality care for all our equine residents, and we use correct and humane priniciples of training with classical dressage as the basis of all disciplines.  Our lesson programme incorporates systematic exercises for correct rider development, and we are particular about safety, and the welfare of both horse and rider.

We offer private lessons in English and Western riding for riders with their own horses, or our lesson horses.

Private Lessons  with riding as the main focus are the most popular service we offer, and all riders in our mounted lesson programme will also learn about horse management, groundwork, horsemanship and general equine knowledge.

We teach Classical Dressage principles in both traditional and western styles, equitation and horsemanship (patterns), and trail and agility obstacles.  We do not teach jumping.

Barn Lessons/Stable Management/Ground Lessons/Un-mounted Lessons are an integral part of our programme and include the following topics -

* Lunging & Long-lining, In-hand Training, Ground Work, Showmanship

* Stable Management and Care, Feeding and Nutrition, Equine Behaviour and Biomechanics, Tack; use and care

All our lessons are both biomechanics and horsemanship based, with a firm emphasis on safety and on learning to understand  horses and their behaviour
